The ID. Buzz Cargo has been awarded the prestigious industry award "International Van Of The Year 2023". IVOTY Chairman Jarlath Sweeney presented the award on behalf of the 34 international commercial vehicle journalists who make up the IVOTY jury: “It’s not too often that a totally new van concept comes around and arouses so much attention in the marketplace. The Plug-in Van Grant (PIVG) is a grant currently offered by the Office for Zero emission Vehicles (OZEV) to eligible manufacturers to promote the purchase of ultra low emission vehicles. The ID. Buzz Cargo is eligible for the PiVG, meaning customers purchasing an ID. Buzz Cargo will receive 35% off the purchase price, up to a maximum of £5,000 (subject to an overall limit of 1000 van or truck grants per business or organisation, across all manufacturers, each year being 1 April – 31 March). The £5,000 grant has already been deducted from the ‘Total RRP inc. OTR inc. VAT inc. Plug-in Van Grant price shown (and therefore the recommended ‘On the road’ price will increase in the event that grant funding is ultimately not applicable, withdrawn, or eligibility for the grant or the grant amount changes, for any reason, or the annual limit is exceeded). Your authorised Volkswagen Van Centre will submit the details of your order online in order to claim the grant funding. The grant is subject to full T&Cs and eligibility requirements. [252 miles applies to Commerce Plus and 254 miles applies to Commerce]. These figures were obtained after the battery had been fully charged to 100%. The ID. Buzz Cargo is a battery electric vehicle requiring mains electricity for charging. Figures shown are for comparability purposes. Only compare electric range figures with other vehicles tested to the same technical procedures. These figures may not reflect real life driving results, which will depend upon a number of factors including the starting charge of the battery, accessories fitted (post-registration), variations in weather, driving styles, speed, vehicle and battery age and vehicle load. Data correct at [03/2024].  Zero emissions while driving. Fuel consumption for battery electric vehicles is not applicable. To charge at 170kW, you will need to use a charger in excess of 170kW. The availability of 170kW + chargers is currently limited in the UK. They are mainly located on selected motorways and major arterial routes. These chargers are not currently available in Northern Ireland and numbers are low in Scotland, Wales and rural parts of England. Please see https://www.zap-map.com for further details.
